Standard Driven CCTV Reporting
Viewline 550 uses the Manual of Sewer Condition Classification system as a standard for CCTV survey observation reporting. For pipe and manhole condition grading we use the Drainage Reporting Book serviceability system.
Our video element is designed to cope with most video file formats.
There are a variety of video codecs, containers and dimensions with no real hardware standard output. To cater for this we have built a video player that will play all formats as well as recording live surveys
Ease of Use
All Viewline applications are designed for simplicity of use for drainage contractors and ease of understanding for report users. To enable this we provide template descriptions and guidance within our report output and this website.
We are an approved training centre for DrainSafe, WRc and the National Drainage Academy
All of our software applications are free to use and fully functional for the first 28 days. Viewline reporting software is designed to be used on Windows operating systems

If you are having problems viewing videos try the codec installation solutions below or contact us.
You might need codecs
Video codecs compress the video data and encode it into a format that can later be decoded and played back or edited.
Hardware manufacturers do not necessarily adhere to one standard. This would be good but as it does not happen we have to provide solutions to those codecs we do not support natively.
Downloading and installing any of the following codecs may resolve a video issue. They certainly won’t harm anything.
