Projects are corrupt

This would suggest file corruption or disk issues, issues with storage, or permissions. Here are some troubleshooting guidelines:

  • Viewline likes to read and write files from a local folder. If projects are stored remotely or something like OneDrive is being used, then we would recommend not using this during report work. For example, with OneDrive you should pause syncing during project work.
  • Viewline is not designed to work on a network.
  • Run a disk check (chkdsk) to look for disk errors.
  • Check if antivirus software might be interfering with file access

Please check these first. Bear in mind Viewline is designed read and write to a locally stored project. Project corruption generally occurs when this cannot be carried out or the process is affected by file movement across a network.
